Cutting out

engine starts up straight away but as soon as iput it in drive or reverse it cuts out or sometimes if i break sudden it cuts out any ideas

i take it this is an auto box, i think you probably have an idle control valve problem, it's not uncommon on fords, by the whey cleaning them out never works they are normaly electraly unservicable.
