2016 Ford Fiesta cutting out

I bought the car in Jan 2020 so it hasn't had a lot of use due to lockdowns. Recently it's started cutting out and mis-firing when the revs drop below about 1200. It seems to happen once the car is warmed up or if it's a hot day. I've had a few hairy moments where it just dies on a roundabout/at a junction. It can be difficult to get it to start again. A mechanic has checked it and no fault shows on the diagnostics.

Check the plugs , check / clean MAF sensor .
