Door control is from a computer module,
one of many,
including one in the dash.
All linked and accessed by the diagnostic socket.
So plugging in a quality scanner should communicate with the door module and scan for faults.
I'm surprised you "sparks" didn't do this scan.
It's a must.
You might have to bite the bullet and get Ford to run a global scan for all modules and communication and faults.

Usually faulty / sticking micro switch in lock assembly .Could also check for broken wiring where it passes through from A pillar into door .
