Hi,
my car has a oil leak (not major) but need to know.
Engine has covered 128,000 Just had all belts replaced,oil change,filter and rocker gasket+air filter.
Was told oil leak poss/seal on gear shaft selector.Is this an expensive repair.?

It's only around an hours labour plus parts,
Curious though,
the selector is pretty high up the side of the box,
and the worst I've seen could be described as a "weep" of oil from a faulty seal.
Nevertheless you absolutely do not want the box running dry of oil,
that would be terminal for the box is very short order.
