Engine keep stalling

everytime i have to go down gears mostly at junctions the engine will stall the battry and oil light will come on just before this happens i have got a standard injection engine can anyone help??

could be the idle control valve you might be able to clean it up or you might need to replace it have you tried injector cleaning additive like redex or similar

my car is an automatic car and mine is cutting out when i put it in drive or reverse, and if i brake sudden it cuts out and i would like to what it could be any ideas
