2002 Ford Fiesta rattling from front / engine noise when acelating or changing up gears from 2nd onwards. lasts about -10 seconds and stops.

Can anyone help as my Fiesta has just started to make what is a rattling / rattlesnake sound immediately . Sometimes it when Im acelating and other times as I change gears and acelate up. It can last for - 10 seconds at the moment and goes away

Hard to say without hearing noise or defining better exactly where it's coming from i.e engine , g/box , susp etc .etc .You can get a heavy rattle from heatshield on exhaust if loose and coming off , usually in the centre / front area when heard .
