i had my fan belt changed about a month ago due to it making a strange noise this was fixed with a new belt but 2 days later i now have this very annoying slight grinding noise its loud when driving but as soon as i put my clutch down it stops also when its not in gear u can hear it (please help )

Sounds like gearbox layshaft bearings, could check gearbox oil level.Or possibly noise from clutch release bearing .

I was thinking release bearing also.

Pull fan belt off and see if noise goes . Belt may be overtightened .

i have had this problem before sounding exactly same as yours it wthe clutch release bearing i replaced the complete clutch and fixed
