1997 Ford Fiesta rear windscreen not demisting, although switch light is on?

Rear widnscreen has stopped demisting/defrsoting. Even though switch is luminated on the dash?
Not sure what is faulty and where to find the faulty component?
Please offer any thoughts?

clean up the 4 pin connections on the boot and body and see how you go from there if the problem still persists then i would say replace this item and check all connections around the window
