knocking noise when starting up engine all so when switching off engine. This same noise occurs when accelerating from gear change. The engine it self sounds fine

sounds like it could be your exhaust knocking on the chassis

suspect worn lower suspension arm inner bushes, exhaust or engine/gearbox mounts
