noticed on my way back from work that my car was struggling for power, no lights are on my dash board. and noticed a strong smell of petrol from my car ive looked underneath the car and cant see any leaks, there was also smoke coming from the exhaust. Any ideas what it could be?

It sounds like it is running on three cylinders
Check spark plugs, distributor cap (if it has one) or coil pack(s)
