1996 Ford Fiesta car lock

Variant: 1.6 si
i cant open the drivers door with the key when its locked so i have to open it from the passenger side. is there an easy solution that i can use to do it myself or do i have to call some one out?

hi take off the door trim and have a look at the rods on the lock they may have came off you can do it your self that could be the problem

if its not wear in the key or lock then its probably got a tiny spring broken in the lock itself ,you will have to take off the door panel the undo the window runner and remove then the rods to the lock and the lock itself there should be a spring on a little white clip that pulls the lock upwards you may find it in the bottom of the door
