Heating not working what could be the cause.

Two possible faults here (One) and most likley you have an air lock in the system open header tank run engine up to temp and fill if needed
(Two)Thermostat fault take it out put it into hot water if the center moves its working if not replace

More likely to be the control flow valve under scuttle which directs flow of hot coolant to matrix, I have changed loads!
