Smoke & Engine oil

2006 Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI
Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.4 TDCI
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
HI , White smoke is coming when we start the car, and 5 liter engine oil will get empty by 1000 KM
Problem added: Dec 1, 2011 (12 years ago)
Sounds like engine goosed . If blowing white smoke could be head gasket or unburnt fuel.Using that amount of oil also indicates excssive wear on pistons , rings , bores etc .

The symptoms you describe could be valve stem oil seals if its just from cold, but it does sound like it,s running on it,s own engine oil if consumption is so high. as previously suggested.is the breather system clear as a kinked/blocked oil return pipe can have this effect.

If the valve stem oil seals or valve stems were the cause , you would get blue smoke out the back and it would get worse as engine heats up and oil thins etc . You would also get it worse if for example sitting at lights , then pulling away . You could also get a build up on valves .If the engine wasn't breathing properly you would get excessive pressure in engine which normally results in oil leaks / blowing out oil etc. You would get some indication .

No one can " Tell me the Exact Solution " unless they have x-ray eyes to see into your engine .Take your car into a garage and get it checked over . Could check injectors , compressions and get a block test .

sounds like you may have a knackered turbo!
