Rattle when idling

2005 Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI
Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 2005
Variant: 1.4 TDCI
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I just had a new clutch fitted and now there is a rattle when the car is idling. If you press the clutch it goes away. I took it back to my garage and he said it must have been a faulty release bearing that he fitted with the clutch so changed that for a new one again. The rattle is still there tho but only intermittently.. seems to be when the car is cold and it goes as everything warms up. Any ideas?

if yhe noise goes away when clutch pressed it normally mean gearbox bearing because when clutch pressed you are disconnecting gear box

A lot of those cars have a DMF ( dual mass flywheel ) which is common and known cause of rattle . If your car has one , it should have been checked / replaced when clutch fitted .

it hasn't got a DMF... my garage checked for that....
