The heater pushes out heat on all settings except the windscreen blower so the screan is constantly misted up or wet.

There is a flap in heater box which directs where the air flows ,but I cant remember if it's worked by a cable or what .You'll have to look and see how the control operates on your car .Sometimes you can get at flap under dash to move it by hand into demist position .
