1999 Ford Escort losing revs in reverse

recently broken down .car would not start.rac said it was the crank sensor so i changed it but car still would not start the fule relay was buzzing so changed it now the car starts but loses revs in reverse and cuts out any help would be appreciated

could be your lamba sensor not working properly or even the car requiring a service which will help running the car and starting
