1996 Ford Escort car moves to the right when breaking hard!

Car: Ford Escort
Year: 1996
Variant: 1.6 LX petrol 16v
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
When I brake with medium to hard pressure my car goes off to the right! Had front and rear brakes done last year. Does anyone know what could be causing this please?

Brake pads needs to be replaced or theres an air in breaking system. Breaking pads breakin weaker on the right side(front)

soundes like u have got a seized caliper or sticking/seized pads at the front, or bad hydraulic flexi hose not allowing pressure release

sticking caliper have the local garage give them a strip down and rebuild on the front calipers and then you will be ok once this has been done

Thanks for your advice. Will this cost much to have done?

More than likely to be worn wishbone bushes to be honest, Flexing under braking and causing the car to veer to one side.
