1996 Ford Escort temp gauge not moving!!

My temperature gauge is not moving at all. It just stays to the left all the time! Is this easily fixed and what should I expect to pay to have it done? Many thanks.

sounds like temperature gauge sender unit or wire off/broken the sender unit is about 10-15pounds and just unscrews it is mounted in the water housing on the end of cylinder head

there are 2 temp sesors, one is on the bottom of the thermostat with a blue plug i think, the other has a black one, mine was the blue one that sorted it cost £6
