Indicator/Brake light problem

1996 Ford Escort 1.3 Encore
Car: Ford Escort
Year: 1996
Variant: 1.3 Encore
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi

I've just started to have problems with my rear lights (right hand side only).

When I indicate , everything is fine until I apply the foot brake then , brake lights flash , fog lights flash and side lights flash.

I have looked at the rear clusters and cleaned all the contacts .No change.

I have removed , cleaned and reseated the earth connection just above the cluster , no change.

I have noticed that the indicator on the RH side is dimmer than that of the LH side , and even if I switch the bulbs around it still is.

Can anyone give me any more ideas to try please .....

if you have cleaned up the earth and the other connections there shouldnt really be any problems at all have some one press the brake peddle for you and wobble the connection just to be sure that its not got a bad feed
