1997 Ford Escort sluggish

my car seems sluggish/lack of power especially when cold.i have replaced ht leads/plugs coil pack,idle speed control valve,fuel filter but still the same.it has a k&n air filter on it.the only thing i have not replaced is the lambda sensor,not sure if this is anything to do with it.

check the cambelt hasn't jumped a tooth, or check the exhaust system
