my brake light comes on and goes off now and again,the brake fluid level has not changed so i do not think that i have got a leak.any ideas

check fluid reserior cap ,suspect float faulty

check warning wires on pads if its got them that is if not just clean up the connection on the cap and flush the cap with clean brake fluid and dont spill any on the paint work as it acts like a paint stripper
