suddenly very noisey, rattling , and vibrations especially acellerating hard , loss of power, couldnt see any obvious problems anyware. Could it be cat ? as thats were rattling seems to come from,

It is possible that the catalyst has broken up inside causing rattling and blocking the exhaust system,Normally you would get an emission light on.

If not above solution , take it clutch isn't slipping ? But sounds like exhaust / cat broken up .
