2005 Fiat Ulysse alarm/immobiliser

Car: Fiat Ulysse
Year: 2005
Variant: 2.2jtd prestigio
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
left car for a week and battery ran flat, charged battery and can't deactivate the alarm or immobiliser or open central locking.
As soon as charged battery is fitted alarm starts, immobiliser kicks in and the car wont start (or shut up)!
Is it a simple coincidence the battery in the fob has gone flat too?
Or do I need to reset the alarm somehow?
Factory fitted alarm/immobiliser.

Try locking and unlocking the car , a few times if needed .

Cheers for that, I've tried locking and unlocking the doors using the drivers door (changed fob battery but still nothing from the key) and the central locking opens but alarm still sounds and immobiliser is active, even putting the key in the ignition (which usually disarms the immobiliser) has no joy, I fear a visit to Fiat and take out a small mortgage to get it sorted.

Try this ,

Fiat Remote Programming

Fiat Ulysse

New remotes cannot be programmed without the use of special hardware but existing remotes can be synchronised as follows:

1. Switch on the ignition

2. Press the lock or unlock button and hold for 10 seconds. Do this on all remotes to synchronise them
