2002 Fiat Stilo engine just cut out as we were driving and wouldnt start , luckily we were 20 yards from home the engine turns over freely enough but wont start oil water and fuel are all ok

the car cut out after a short drive luckily we were only 25 yards from home, all levels are fine the engine turns over freely enough but wont fire up .

Ha ve to check car getting fuel ? spark ? Could be timing belt ?

Hi, The exact same thing has happened to me. Normally it is the Magnetic Cam Sensor and its quite an easy job to do yourself. Parts about 20 quid. When it happened to me the car turned off at idol and then would not start again. You can hear the engine turning over but it wont start.
