2003 Fiat Stilo wipers stay upright when in of persion

WIPERS GOT STUCK IN FROST NOW WHEN THEY STOP THEY STAY IN UPRIGHT PERSION AND DONT GO BACK DOWN

you may find that when they were operated in the frost they have jumped around there splines lift up the protecting caps on the wiper arms,undo the nut holding the wiper arm on remove the arms and then operate the wipers watch the splines to see if they are moving enough to operate the wipers across the screen,switch wipers off and let them park then refit the wiper arms back on in there stopped position tighten the nuts and then retry this should cure it you may have to adjust the arms abit once fitted if they are hitting the bottom of the screen etc but just undo the nut again and move arm up or down and then tighten nut

tryed this but as if the motor now stops there you can see it when you take wipes of

if wipers are not returning to park position i thinl you may have lost the feed for the park setting check your fuses
