Tailgate intermitantly opening

picked my car up on 16/12/2009 and noticed on dash that a door was showing to be open and found it to be the boot was open.it has been back to fiat garage 3 times and had 3 different parts fited...new microchip on back boot strip (didnt work)....a new boot strip put on (didnt work)....a new catch on boot (didnt work).....the boot opens when pasenger door opens or closes...same when drivers door opens and even when we are driving we get to destination and the boot will be open...dont know what the garage intends doing next....I have put in a case with fiat customer services, hope you have some ideas.

Think you have been very patient with the dealers as they have had 3 attempts to repair this fault . Especially since the fault was there from the day you got car and should have been picked up before delivery .Would suggest the boot opening whilst driving would constitute a danger to other road users re. contents spilling out , apart from the distraction to you and who ever is behind you . I would press Fiat customer services for a speedy result to this problem and if getting no satisfaction , seek legal advice about returning car to dealers. Would be interested in outcome , please keep us informed .

My 59 panda can be opened with the key only. Please tell me how your can be opened as I was unaware of there being other release mechanisms on this model
