2010 Fiat Panda engine cuts off

while driving engine cuts off very briefly (split second), engine management light comes on and engine turns back on again and drives normally. I am worried whether this is going to get worse and what could be causing it. Any ideas please help.

So many possible causes , you are better getting a diagnostic scan carried out and this will show the fault code that is triggering the light .

Hope that,s not a car I am working on and not faulting,ha !never say never.Any way first thing would be to check for codes ,known faults are coil packs and head gaskets .

This issue is nearly always down to the crank angle sensor mi e fails @8k from new did exactly the same and now is perfect
