2000 Fiat Marea abs light

My ABS light is on permanently and i now have a red brake system light on to keep it company. brakes seem to be working fine. what should i do. the brake system light only came on when i braked quickly 3 times in succession to try and put the ABS light out. Anyone help a poor ignorang of car mechanics female?

Many possible causes ,i.e could be faulty sensor but need to get it scanned and see whats causing light to come on . Also check brake fluid level . Dodgy driving about in this condition till fault found .Hope it's something minor .

My abs light is still on and my handbrake light also. checked the fuses in the fuse box and nothing adrift there. What should i try now? Does anyone know of an auto electrician who would come to the house (near St. Andrews)
