Heater only blows out cold air have checked the fuses and fan

Check coolant level .If ok , with engine at normal temp ,check both hoses into heater matrix are warm .If still o.k , heater flap must be inoperative for whatever reason . Not sure of set up on that car but may be heater flap cable not operating or motor / actuator ( whatever is fitted ).

Could be as simple as a thermostat but check system first

Even if the thermostat was jammed open , you would still get SOME heat .

My heater does not get hot but the when driving at a speed the temperature gauge goes into the red and the light comes on .when engine switched of and left a few mins it is ok again any help please
