the problem started when i ran out of petrol the other day i had a job restarting it and since its been missing real bad i hvae chacked all the plugs and leads and all seems fine any other things i can do myself before taking to a garage?

may have draged muck out of bottom of tank check fuel flow at injector rail filter is on bulkhead, the easy way is to put pressure gauge on rail.note some fuel filters on daewoo cars have special connections dont break

its blowing white smoke aswell now i think thats a sign of the head gasket :( but would that cause it to miss fire aswell?
if the head gasket is gone do i need the head skimmed and pressure tested or is it just a case of changeing the gasket?
