2003 Daewoo Matiz speedo and radio not working

This is my daughters car and she is away in Scotland on business. She tells me that she got up to Scotland no prob, got back in car and speedo, mileometer and Radio are not working. Can anyone help so i can assist her over the phone. Thanks Guys

Thee AA have been called out and the guy doesn't know what's wrong eith it. Is it illegal for her to drive it home whilst not working?
