I have just purchased with 59000miles , the airbag light is on ,how urgent is this.

The car was probably involved in an accident and the airbag was deployed and not put back properly or there is just an electrical fualt so best get checked out soon.

Could have a quick look at any electrical connections under front seat and then if o.k , read this ,
