my wifes matiz went in for its mot yhis week and failed on a brake pipe, it was the one that goes above the petrol tank.the tank had to be removed to replace pipe so mechanic dissconected the battery. replaced pipe and tank reconnected the battery and something strange has happened!!! every time you open a door the hazzards flash for 20 seconds or so. car starts fine so not immobiliser. have to lock door and start car for hazzards to stay off oherwise they keep comming on for 2o seconds every now and then. any ideas anyone?????

had a look and it appears to not have an immobiliser, so can only asume someone`s fitted some kind of alarm to it and later removed some of it. have came up wi the idea of dissconecting the door switches will try that over the weekend.
