Car: Daewoo Matiz
Year: 2004
Variant: SE plus
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
No power to the headlights main or dipped. All fuses in engine bay intact and swapping the relay with another does not change anything. Also tried swapping the headlight / indicator stalk with another but has made no change. Anything else I can check to resolve the problem?

Checked the fuses in the interior fuse box also ?

No I havent. I did manageto get to the fuse box behind the dash but stopped before getting the top off as struggling with my back in an awkward and painful position. I was surprised to see a further 3 relays there also one being a flasher relay but don't know what the other 2 are as they are as they are not listed in the owner manual. I will have another go and check the interior fuses. One thing I did note was that that once the lights were applied from the stalk the digit light on the interior digital clock dimmed?

On most cars when the lights are switched on the panel , instrument lights dim automatically to save dazzle / glare at night .

Hi there thanks for your replies, much appreciated. The clock in these cars is a seperate unit not included in the dash lightning.
Perhaps it has always done it, I'm not sure but it was quite noticable in this instance. I will check for anything wrong in the interior fuse box and will relay my findings.
Many thanks for your advice.
