2003 Daewoo Matiz idling not nice

I was told its because of vacuum canister that check engine light is on and this have an effect on idling. Can't find part anywhere. According to mechanic diagnostic test nothing shows faulty. I'm from South Africa

If engine check light is on it should have a fault code stored that would have been retrieved when scanned . Common fault is coil pack .

Could try clamping the hose /pipe going to it see if that stops the rough running as probably a vacuum leak causing the issue and trace it from there
