Dashboard lights keep going on and off

When driving along and I turn on my lights all of a sudden after a few minutes driving the dash board lights go off and I can not see them at night what so ever, but once parked up and turn engine off they will start to flicker just at the oil temp side, HELP!

If that car has a panel light dimmer switch , make sure it is adjusted correctly .Otherwise you may need a few panel light bulbs replacing .
