i stopped my car for fuel then it wouldnt start then when it did it was ropet once i got it home i disconnected the battery and left overnight it started fine went for a drive after a couple of miles it wouldnt accelerate can you help?

When was the car last serviced or engine checked / tuned up ? Dont understand what you mean by " it was ropet once i got it home "
