Non starter

1999 Daewoo Matiz 0.8 se
Car: Daewoo Matiz
Year: 1999
Variant: 0.8 se
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My sister borrowed the car she had trouble starting it one day and bumped it and it worked then when she went to fetch the car it wouldn't start at all.

So obviously this is an ignition problem and so far have toyed the following, checked spark from HT lead :- worked fine a good spark, checked spark from leads to plugs, this sort of worried me but I'm not convinced as I had 1 blue spark and 2 red/orange sparks, uhh I think red sparks are weak sparks? I had to do it with a screw driver in there as the rubber didn't fold back enough. The next step I'm taking tomorrow is to take the spark plugs out and check the spark there on each one, I have a feeling that a plug has blown as the car try's desperately to start even giving that starting feeling when the engine cranks faster but it won't fire up or bump start. I also understand that the rotar arm could be at fault too but unsure.

Maybe it's not the ignition? I do get a spark so the immobilizer isn't on.
The fuel pump is working and there is petrol in the car.
Any help would be appreciated, before I go to work on it tomorrow.

not sure what ignition sytem your car has fitted if it has a distributor check the rotor arm and the carbon brush in the dist cap also the contacts in cap it could also be the ht lead from cap to coil try replacing all ht leads or get resistance checked on old leads check/replace spark plugs i assume timing belt is ok and not jumped if all ok if you have a spare key try that transponder might be at fault or original key not being recognized by system also you could check connections to engine sensors and injectors you could try spraying some easy start into induction pipe from air filter while an assistant cranks engine over if it fires up it will be a fuel fault hope this helps

^ x 2 .Also could check / replace engine coolant temp sensor which lets ECU know how much fuel to supply to engine .I.e more fuel on cold start .
