Car has cut out. turns over but wont start

Car has cut out whilst driving . plenty of fuel but just wont start without putting a bypass lead from fuel pump to main fuse relay under bonnet, and then it runs just fine . once disconnected it cuts out. Help

You obviously have a fault in the wiring loom at some point (sure you dont realy need me to tell you that). First you need to get a wiring diagram so that you can follow the wiring route from its feed to the earth point. Make a test lamp if you dont have 1 from a 12v bulb and wiring then follow the feed from the output at the fuse box to all the points through to the pump. If there is no point where you can check between the fuse and the pump but there is a break in the wire between the 2 points the wire could be replaced with wire of the same rating if correctly routed and insulated.

my question is i start the car up it may start first time then i drive to supermarket come out try start car up and it wont start for ages got the car a full service and its still same way, i had told garage guy about the problem at time of service they done diagnosis and said its a fault code p1629 immobilizer control module poss, wiring or faulty immobilizer can u tell me if that is the case and how much will it cost to get it fixed and where is it situated in the car ? thank u.
