when sitting idle car starts to rev

i have just bought 1.same problem,its a sensor block.when u lift bonnet up.at the back of engine at the top in the middle.u cant miss it,its on its own.replace that,problem solved.only a fiver from scrap yard.

when you say sensor block is this the idle control valve? i have replaced mine twice and its still not working
