my daewoo matiz, 75,000 mile... 99 reg.... the temperature gauge is always on the lowest level.... is this normal??? if not what would be the problem??? i dont seem to have any problems with the car apart from its a little noisy bt i think thats normal for a little 3 cylinder..... any help or advice would be much appreciated.. saz

Could be thermostat jammed open or temp . transmitter / sensor .

I have a nubira estate and a similar problem. The temp gauge used to work fine and ran between the second and third marks but now rarely gets above the first mark unless in traffic. it fluctuates but stays very low - any ideas please??
