Dacia Sandero boot lever not working

Model Year: 2019
I took my car to a hand wash and popped the boot with the lever and went to do it again half an hour later and it isn't working. In hindsight, 2 of them were fiddling around in the boot for longer than usual. Any ideas what might be wrong or how to fix it.

May be something jamming the boot . You need to go in through the inside to access and release the boot lock manually to see what is faulty
