Dacia Sandero heater has to be on number 4 and flap makes a big noise and heat will not go off until number zero is switched on.

the heater will only become hot on no.4 after a mile and will not turn down heat unless back to zero.when switching on to no.4 there is the sound of a flap closing or opening and is very loud .this car does not have air/con as standard and is just a normal hot/cold heater system.

Sounds like you may have a few faults , flap actuator for one or heater control valve if fitted on that model . Could scan it for fault codes ,check coolant level
