2014 Dacia Sandero slight oil leak - under pan wet

The leak is slight and there are a few oil drops on the driveway. The mechanic says not to worry and perhaps put a bowl of cat litter under car. It is on the RHA drivers side. The garage says the whole engine would need to be removed to identify the small leak.

If you locate and clean the area of the leak you can then apply oil leak tracing powder to find the source . If unable to get , you can use talc powder . The oil leak could be something simple like an oil filter or engine oil pressure switch which tend to leak more when engine running , but can drop after switching off
