2004 Citroen Xsara fuel

Car: Citroen Xsara
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.6 hdi
Categories: Leaks & Noises
hi, had a injector seal replaced due to chuffing sound everything fine for two or three days, then the horrible smell came back.
when i lifted the bonnet and took the cover off and that diesel was pumping out of the injector rail, so i replaced it and phoned the garage where i had the seal replaced (used the garage for many years so no problem there)When i got to the garage the pipe was off again the owner replaced the pipe with new piece and that is were the problem begins after the the first pipe was replaced the next one went and so on then then leak started at other points, seemed to be back pressure from some where. The only thing that i done different was added a injector cleanner

Maybe your return line is damaged slightly or has a blockage, causing excessive pressure,or excessive spill return from a faulty injector or excessive fuel pressure feed.
