Hi, squealing noise,from clutch, worse when clutch pedal operated.

Sounds like clutch release bearing .You will better to replace complete clutch assembly as diaphram fingers will probably be worn also as well as centre plate .

Hi, I would agree with the first reply to your problem. I recently replaced a clutch on a Xsara wit a collapsed release bearing, so no doubt this will be the problem.

as other replies but also check release bearing sleeve /runner for damage and check release lever bushes in bell houseing for wear
