indicator lights activating by themselves slight or light pressure on stalk seems to correct problem if stalk needs replacing is it easy to do.

Sounds like faulty stalk . Never fitted one on that car and not sure if it requires removal of wheel with airbag to replace .

Agree that stalk is most common cause.
