Dashboard lights go out when headlights switched on

Can anyone help? My dashboard lights (everything inc speedometer) go out when I turn on my side lights or headlights.
Its NOT the anti dazzle switch as Ive tried this (sorry but im not very technical) That black & white circle at side of speed reading!

look at bad ground corroded ground ,then look at your combo switch

TRY THE DIMMER BUTTONS ON RIGHT OF STEERING WHEEL ON DASH OR PULL THE BIG HF HS FUSE OUT IN DASH AND RESET THE DASH THAT WAY
