2000 Citroen Xsara Picasso exterior temp and mpg indicators not working,

on my dashboard the digital display for the outside temp only shows dashes also the mpg display is not working again only showing dashes, is this just the fuse?

Sorry can`t help with the MPG, however the temp sounds like the sensor is kaput. It is located in the nearside door mirror but not sure whether you can replace just the sensor or not, or it may just be a dodgy connection. Sorry I can`t be of any more help, but hope this bit is of some help.
