2004 Citroen Xsara Picasso windscreen wiper is getting stuck on the pillar

When i turn my windscreen wipers on the passenger side wiper over shoots and gets stuck behind the pillar, i have no idea what is causing this.

Adjust and tighten wiper arm on spindle . If not that check for wear on linkage .
